About Me

Hi everyone, I'm Lauren Staas. I'm a wife to Carl and momma to Henry. Here's a little bit about me:

I went to college at the University of Central Missouri and graduated in 2013 with my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. While attending UCM, I met my future husband, Carl Staas. I was bartending at a local bar in town, and he was a patrol officer working nights. We would run into each other either when I was getting off work and he was watching the bars during closing, or we'd see each other while out. Eventually, we decided to run into each other on purpose and have our first real date! From there, we dated, fell in love, and knew we'd found something real.

Right after graduating college, we had our first child. Balancing pregnancy, getting engaged, planning a wedding, and moving was a stressful but amazing time. We've gone through two moves now, a wedding, promotions, new jobs, and much more! Through all of this, I've learned a ton and decided a blog would be a great place for me to get all my thoughts down and keep our family and friends updated on our lives.
